Scroll down to the bottom, click on careers, see open positions, and go down to a junior software developer in support role. What they’re looking for is a junior software developer in support to help developers who rely on Checkly to ensure the stability of their web apps and APIs for their end users. They have a whole list of things they would love for you to have, including initial work experience in a technical role, so they just want to know that you have the knowledge. They give some other things they prefer you have knowledge in, wanting to know that you can do the coding and understand all of the applications you’ll be working with.

As far as what they’re paying, depending on where you live, this looks like you can actually live in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, or the US. According to the listing, the US pay range runs from $57,000 to $79,000 a year. Take a look at Checkly if you’re unhappy in your career and maybe looking for a change, or maybe you just graduated from high school and don’t want to go to college. What you’ll be responsible for day to day is assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, researching, tracking, and resolving any issues that arise, supporting cross departmental projects and impacting multiple functions. What they’re looking for is experience with a variety of accounting software, Salesforce and other tools. They’d like for you to have some knowledge and background in the higher education community, and they’d love for you to have a degree, but that’s not reality, it doesn’t actually say they require you to have a degree. Software as a service, basic accounting principles, if you come in with any sort of accounting knowledge and you can show that and convey that, this company is likely to consider you seriously. They want essential proactive B2B sales experience including prospecting, lead generation, cold calling in the software, SaaS, IT sector. You’ll be looking to prospect, get new leads, bring in new customers, do all of the things around selling. This is not a closing role, so you’ll be handing off the leads to a closer, and that’s how you gradually move up the chain. Desired education is a degree level, so that’s desired, not required. Working remote, these positions are listed with salaries of $40,000 to $60,000 plus $20,000 in bonus and commission, which is fairly typical for an entry level sales development representative in software and tech. Employment qualifications call for one to two years of help desk experience, and this is an entry level position.
